Leaving a Legacy: A cross-functional workshop
to leverage the corporate opportunities to make a difference
Workshop
This experiential workshop addresses the hot topic of corporations’ social and environmental responsibility, and the impact each individual can have on that complex task. Participants will build a map of the systemic connections at play when talking social and environmental responsibility, and identify the “low hanging fruit” , opportunities they personally have to influence their corporate legacy.
Outcomes
At the end of the workshop the participants will have
- expanded their thinking about corporate legacies,
- developed a map of systemic connections within the corporate social and environmental responsibility
- developed some personal action steps on the content level in creating a corporate legacy – starting where they are
- experienced Action Reflection Learning, an organizational learning methodology
- learned some processes and tools to apply in their work context
Methodology
This workshop is designed and tailored to the particular context of your organization. Using a highly interactive and experiential methodology (Action Reflection Learning) the participants will work on opportunities relevant to their context, exchange, reflect and plan concrete action steps.
Target audience
Corporate Responsibility officers are invited to convoke a cross-functional group from their organization: line managers representing Finance, IT, Human Resources, Operations, Legal, PR, Marketing and Sales, R&D, Production, Sourcing and Logistics.
This workshop is based on the assumption that every individual is already leaving a legacy, a daily footprint, and that we all have numerous opportunities to be more efficient and make a better footprint on the environment and the community.
