Meaningful Conversations
Intro
Recently Newsweek launched a section called The Boomers Files, referring to the generation born between 1943 and 1963. From getting high to getting rich to getting serious, boomers kept changing the meaning of success. Now their search for meaning drives them to taking care of their minds and souls. Maturing individuals are more inclined to reflection, to seek for meaning beyond the daily trivia and obligations.
But also Gen Y is characterized by the search for a balanced life, for purpose and the search for making a difference. Unfortunately, there are not many places that promote this kind of reflective conversation.
What is it?
Meaningful Conversations is a space where individuals can experience reflection and dialogue conversations on thought provoking topics, in a professionally facilitated environment.
Description
These conversations are relaxed, informal opportunities to explore and appreciate different points of view. They are not debates. Participants are invited to share their personal perspectives and, in turn, hearing others without judgment. The Meaningful Conversations sessions address questions of relevance to the audience. Each session lasts 90 minutes.
Some examples of topics:
- What is success?
- People that impacted our life. What and how? And how are we impacting others?
- How is time and place conditioning our thinking?
- What is right and what it wrong, and how do we know?
- Can ethics be taught?
- How much money is enough?
