Shaping your legacy

Shaping your Legacy is a very profound and exclusive seven day retreat that will launch you in living a more purposeful life. Are you ready?

Program Overview

Getting ready

This journey, as all journeys, begins before you arrive at the lodge. It actually begins when you request more information on this program and when you decide to register… Because this is a journey of the mind and the heart before your body actually gets there. Once you’ve registered you will receive some pre-work and pre-reading to expand your awareness and sharpen your focus.

The Launch

This retreat is an integral experience, where every component plays a specific role. To this aim, each location has been carefully selected. For the launch, we will gather at the exclusive and picturesque Marriot in San Jose, Costa Rica. Voted as one of the top ten hotels in Mexico and Central America by Conde Nast, Costa Rica Marriott features a colonial hacienda set on a coffee plantation, creating an elegant and relaxed atmosphere. We have selected this venue for our welcome cocktail and dinner. During this first session you will meet your fellow participants and staff, hear about the agenda for the week and exchange individual expectations, laying the foundation for an extraordinary week.

Getting there

Taking off from the domestic airport in the world’s first and only zero emissions airline, Nature Air, we will have a 65 minute flight from San Jose to Puerto Jimenez, in the southwest corner of the country. From there a 45 minute ride in a 4x4 will take us into the heart of one of Costa Rica’s last virgin ecosystems, located on the Osa Peninsula, on the road to Corcovado National Park. El Remanso, the most environmentally responsible lodge of the region, will be our home for the week. Founded in 1999 by Spanish and US-American environmentalists and Greenpeace activists, Belen and Joel, this secluded resort with a limited number of accommodations on its 179 acres provides the perfect location for immersion in Nature and in self, and dialogue with fellow participants.
